3. Enquiries

Submitting an enquiry through this website or by email does not constitute a booking or a contract. Your enquiry is an expression of interest only. A booking is confirmed only when we have issued a written confirmation and received any required deposit.

4. Bookings and Contracts

All bookings are subject to a separate booking agreement which sets out the specific terms for your event, including the event date, package details, payment schedule and any special requirements agreed in writing. The booking agreement, together with these terms and conditions, forms the contract between you and Susegad Properties Ltd.

We recommend you read your booking agreement carefully before signing. If you have any questions please contact our events team at events@sheenemill.com before confirming.

5. Deposits and Payments

A deposit is required to secure your booking date. The amount and due date will be stated in your booking agreement. Dates are not held provisionally: your date is confirmed only on receipt of the required deposit.

Subsequent payments are due on the dates set out in your booking agreement. We reserve the right to treat overdue payments as a material breach of the agreement.

6. Cancellations and Changes

If you need to cancel or significantly change your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges may apply depending on how far in advance you cancel and the terms set out in your booking agreement. Deposits paid to secure a date are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your booking agreement.

We recommend you arrange appropriate event cancellation insurance to cover circumstances beyond your control.

7. Afternoon Tea and Private Dining

For afternoon tea and private dining bookings, if you are unable to attend please notify us more than 72 hours before your reservation and we will make every effort to move your booking to a new date. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice may result in cancellation of your booking with no refund.

8. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are subject to the terms printed on the voucher or communicated at the time of purchase. When booking an experience using a voucher, please ensure you are able to attend the venue on the dates available.

Old style printed gift vouchers that were issued prior to the current redemption system are no longer valid and will not be accepted or exchanged under any circumstances.

9. Allergens and Dietary Requirements

Whilst we have protocols in place to address the risk of cross contamination of allergens, we cannot guarantee their total absence in our food and drinks. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking so we can advise you appropriately.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter which it would be illegal for us to limit or exclude.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any booking or use of this website will not exceed the amount you have paid to us in connection with that booking. We will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or economic loss.

11. Privacy and Personal Data

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By making an enquiry or booking through this website, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law
