Sheene Mill is a flexible, family owned riverside venue that becomes exclusively yours for your event. Set in a sixteenth century mill on the River Mel in Melbourn near Cambridge, it brings together characterful spaces, landscaped gardens, award winning catering and a team who run the day for you, one celebration at a time. Every event is cooked in house, as the food is part of the occasion. There is a wide choice of menus, from canapés and a sharing buffet to a formal sit down meal, and our head chef is happy to design something bespoke around your tastes, your dietary needs and the style of your day.

The Mill and Gardens Are Yours

For your event the mill and gardens are yours alone, with no shared grounds and no other party in the building. There is room for a sit down meal in the banqueting room or an informal celebration that spills out to the riverside lawn, with the team setting it all up so you arrive to a venue that is ready.
