When you hire Sheene Mill exclusively you take all of it: the sixteenth century mill house, the riverside ceremony spaces, the landscaped gardens and all ten boutique bedrooms overlooking the River Mel. There are no other guests, no shared grounds, no other event running alongside yours. From arrival to breakfast the following morning, the mill is entirely your own.

All ten individually designed en-suite bedrooms, each with views over the River Mel, are included in the exclusive hire. Your guests stay, relax and continue the celebration.
A Dedicated Events Team
From setting up to clearing down, the Sheene Mill team runs the day for you. You focus entirely on the occasion.
Ten Individually Designed Boutique Rooms
Sheene Mill has ten boutique bedrooms, each individually designed to complement the original features of this four hundred year old water mill. Every room has its own en-suite, deluxe mattress and modern refitted bathroom, and each one looks out across the old mill pond and the River Mel. Room allocations for wedding and event guests are managed by the event organiser.
Check-in is from 3pm. If you plan to arrive after 7pm please email the venue in advance. Please confirm the exact check-out time with the team when you book.

On-Site Parking for 55 Cars
The car park holds 55 cars with overflow across the road. Guests are welcome to leave cars overnight at their own risk, collected by 11am the following day.
Meldreth Station Is Close
Meldreth is the nearest train station, a short walk from the mill, on the direct line between London and Cambridge. Please confirm the exact walking time with the venue.
Easy Access from the A10 and M11
Sheene Mill is in Melbourn, near Royston, with easy access from the A10, M11 and A1. Cambridge is around ten minutes away. Stansted and Luton airports are approximately 45 minutes.
Mostly Ground Level
The majority of the venue is on the ground floor with ramps where needed. There is a small unavoidable step at the main entrance (the building is listed), but a side gate gives wheelchair users access to the gardens. The Top Lounge is upstairs.
