Winter Weddings

Now that we’re heading into Spring and the Daffodils are coming into bloom it is the perfect time to reminisce on the last few months where I have seen some of my favorite Weddings of all time.

For me, it doesn’t get more romantic than a glammed up Winter Weddings and it couldn’t be more simple to create. With a palette of soft purples and champagnes and the sparkle from candles and fairy lights this look can transfer even the simplest of venues and create the most elegant atmosphere.

The Sheene Mill, in Melbourn just South of Cambridge boasts a beautiful setting for a Winter Wedding and nothing beats the smell of the open fires they have throughout the whole venue.

Teamed with coloured mood lighting throughout the venue and soft touches of sparkle enhanced by the flicker from the t.light candles, this venue is beautifully suited to those cold frosty Winter days.

From the delicate creations of the Canapes to the rich tastes from the Wedding Breakfast Menu, the food only enhances what the venue has to offer and adds even more luxury to a Wedding Day.

Just because the crisp air won’t allow hours of time in the gardens for guests to sip glasses of Champagne and watch the resident swan float around it should definitely not stop you from taking advantage of the idyllic setting and capturing the magic of the gardens in your Wedding shots. Brave the cold with your bare shoulders or fur shrug and snap the essence of the venue with its mood lit river and purple spot lights shining through the naked branches of the oak trees.CPG_ESSE_10TH_008CPG_SHEENE_MILL_12CPG_SHEENE_MILLYou could not find a better suited venue to enhance the Winter months so why not go against the norm and try picturing your Wedding Day amidst the warmth of the open fires, the smell of Christmas and tastes of Winter.
