Located in the sleepy village of Melbourn, near Royston (Cambridgeshire / Hertfordshire / Essex border). We are only 10 minutes from Cambridge central and 3 minutes walk from Meldreth Train Station which runs direct links to Central London. Stansted and Luton Airport are just 45 minutes away.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    Do I Need To Book A Table In Advance?

    Yes. All of our Dine-In Experiences are on a pre-booked basis only. Please select the date you would like to come and follow the onscreen payment instructions. 

    Are Pets Allowed?

    We do not allow pets within the venue but they are more than welcome to enjoy the outdoor patio areas. We ask that your pet is kept on a lead at all times. Pets are not allowed at civil ceremonies held at the venue. Guide dogs are permitted within the venue at all times.

    Do You Have Vegan Options?

    We try to cater for vegans on our Dine-In Experience menus. If you can’t find something that you like then speak to a member of our team and they will happily offer some different choices for you.

    Can You Cater For My Allergy?

    We have a separate allergens menu available which details what is contained within all of our dishes. As most of our dishes are cooked to order we can avoid any items that may cause you an allergic reaction.

    Are You Prepared For Covid-19 Safety?

    We had many months to get prepared for the changes required and have many new safety measures in place. We have PPE for our staff, hand santizer stations throughout the venue, signage and all of our staff have been well trained on the new procedures. We take your safety and the safety of our staff very seriously.

    Is There A Dress Code?

    Put simply… no. We want you to be comfortable. If that means flip flops and shorts in the Summer then that is fine with us. Gone are the days when you get refused entry for wearing trainers and jeans. We are a modern thinking business with an historic 400 year old hat on.

    What Time Is Check-in & Check-out?

    Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is 11am. From time to time we are able to extend these times but this may be subject to a charge.

    Can I Bring Birthday Decorations?

    Absolutely! We want you to have a great time. Please let us know before your celebration what you plan to bring. Balloons, table decorations and games look great! Please speak to us before bringing a cake as there may be a charge for this.
